Car Package Options
The Cruze comes in a variety of trim levels. All of them feature standard 4G LTE WiFi hotspot capabilities. They also come with a rearview camera and seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system, complete with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. This car also comes as a sedan or a hatchback, which both seat five passengers with ample leg and headroom.
The base model Cruze L is available as a sedan. It includes standard rearview camera and seven-inch touch screen infotainment system as well as Chevy's MyLink Infotainment system. The L trim level also includes two USB ports and Bluetooth capability. Also included at the L trim level is the Teen Driver secondary driver system. This feature allows the buyer to set limits on speed and audio volume level for secondary drivers.
One step up from the Cruze L is the Cruze LS. The same features in the Cruze L are included with the LS, but also available at this trim level is the LS convenience package. The convenience package tacks on remote start and cruise control. The LS trim level also allows buyers to upgrade to a hatchback model. The hatchback offers an ample amount of cargo space with almost 23 cubic feet of space behind the rear seats and 47 cubic feet of space with the rear seats folded down. That gives the Cruze hatchback more cargo hauling capability than either the Honda Civic or Toyota Corolla.
The Chevy Cruze LS takes the leap from economical daily driver to high quality driving convenience. The LS features steering wheel mounted controls for audio and cruise control. It also tacks on daytime LED running lights and automatic climate control. The rear seat is also more refined, featuring a fold down arm rest with cup holders and 60/40 folding bench seat. Back seat passengers will also be afforded a USB charging port. The LS also provides satellite radio capabilities and an upgraded six speaker sound system.
Next up in the Chevy Cruze lineup is the Chevy Cruze Diesel. It features a diesel engine with better fuel economy than the turbo gas engine. The diesel engine is paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission to provide a very impressive 31 miles per gallon in the city and 48 miles per gallon on the highway. Buyers of the Cruze diesel will also get keyless proximity entry and push button start. The diesel also comes with heated front seats for a more comfortable driving experience.
The top trim level for the Chevy Cruze is the Cruze Premier. It offers all the features of the Diesel and also includes leather wrapped heated steering wheel and an upgraded rear suspension. The Premier switches back to the turbo gas engine for more horsepower. This trim level also allows buyers the ability to integrate automatic headlights and more advanced driver technology.
